Hey Golden Eagles!
Thank you to everyone who came to our meeting today. We hope you all learned some useful information regarding production design, whether you are interested in getting into that kind of position or are planning on working with an art department team. If you weren't able to make it to the meeting this week, don't worry about it. We've attached the general announcement PowerPoint and the Production Design PowerPoint into this email for you to reference. We've also included some links to some YouTube videos that might benefit you as Art Department hopefuls.
On the general announcement PowerPoint, you'll find some hyperlinks to a couple quick surveys on social media and movie night availability. We would appreciate it if you can fill them out so we can see if these are some things worth focusing on as we continue through the semester. Additionally, we have a projected date for our first Porto's Fundraiser event: Thursday March 7 from 9am-5pm in front of King Hall. Thank you to everyone who filled in their availability in the sign-up sheet. If you haven't filled it in and would like to volunteer an hour or so to helping us raise money to fund more of your projects, send us an email of what times you're free on Thursdays. Every bit of help is greatly appreciated. We did forget to mention this in our meeting, but if you volunteer for any of our fundraiser efforts, you will be given a FREE GEP T-shirt as a thank-you. There is no other way to get them, so if you want a GEP T-shirt, one hour of your time towards our fundraiser efforts is all we need.
Our next meeting will take place Wednesday 2/27 from 3-4pm in the U-SU Alhambra Room! We'll see you all then!
